This is one of my favorite, quick-and-easy snacks. I have chile oil and sesame oil on hand at all times. A little bit goes a long way and they are great condiments for adding a big punch of flavor to veggies, soups and marinades. Try a little mixed into some mashed sweet potatoes, for example, or drizzle some into your next soup, such as this Vegetable Chickpea Soup or my Mexican Chicken Zoodle Soup. Yum!
As you know, avocados are a great snack for many reasons. They have a good amount of Vitamins K, C, E, B5 and B6. They have more potassium than bananas and are loaded with monounsaturated fatty acids – the good kind of fat. Both of these things make avocados a heart-healthy choice.
Beyond all the health benefits of avocados, they’re just plan delicious and are an easy to prepare snack to curb your hunger before dinner without spoiling your appetite.
